A second-generation Cambodian-American filmmaker returns to his rural hometown amid the COVID-19 pandemic to document his family struggling to keep their restaurant open. When the family uses their voice to speak up in the conservative community divided by the BLM movement, mask mandate, and impending election, we see them come together to heal their own American Dream in the face of white nationalists, anti-maskers, and their scars of the Killing Fields.
